Do you have a Hearing Conservation Program?  Are you or your company needing a Baseline or Annual Audiogram?  Are you simply not sure?  We can help!

In accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.95, whenever employee noise exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average sound level (TWA) of 85 decibel, the employer must establish, maintain, and administer a continuing, effective hearing conservation program by way of audiometric testing.  The program must be provided at no cost to employees.

Our equipment is lightweight and portable in order to give us the freedom to perform tests efficiently and on the go!  Call us today, we can help!

Audiometry testing is a painless, noninvasive hearing test that measures a person’s ability to hear different sounds, pitches, or frequencies.  Audiometric testing monitors the sharpness and acuity of an employee's hearing over time, and also provides an opportunity for employers to educate employees about their hearing and the need to protect it.

Baseline and Annual Audiograms

  • Within six months of an employee's first exposure at or above the action level, the employer must establish a valid baseline audiogram against which subsequent audiograms can be compared.
  • After obtaining the baseline audiogram, employers must obtain a new audiogram annually for each employee whose exposure is at or above the action level.
